Mavat AI is a small Sydney business, and this policy is written the way we work: plainly.
What we collect
If you contact us through the form or by email, we receive what you choose to send: your name, email address, and anything you write about your business or project. You can optionally tell us how you found us. The site has no customer accounts and uses no advertising pixels. If you allow optional analytics, we also measure visits and enquiry actions as described below.
What we use it for
We use your details to reply to you and, if you become a client, deliver the work you've asked for. If you choose to tell us how you found us, we also use that answer to understand which recommendations and pages bring enquiries. We don't add you to mailing lists, and we never sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Optional website analytics
When you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure which public pages are visited and whether the form is accepted or the visitor returns from the form provider’s confirmation page. We send page paths and a limited set of source/campaign labels, not your name, email address, enquiry text, full referring URL or URL query strings. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. You can decline or withdraw permission using Analytics preferences; the form still works. Visits without permission are not included in this analytics baseline. A temporary one-time browser token links the provider’s confirmation return to your submission and prevents duplicate counts. This token contains no enquiry details. A telephone or email click is an intent signal, not proof of a received enquiry.
Where it lives
Form submissions are delivered to our business email (hosted by Google Workspace) and pass through our hosting provider (Vercel) and form-delivery service in transit. These providers process the form data to deliver it to us. Where an agreed backup is configured, the enquiry may also be stored there. If analytics is enabled and you allow it, Google processes the measurement data under its Analytics terms, which may involve processing outside Australia. Optional website-source labels can accompany your enquiry to help us understand which pages bring useful work.
Keeping and removing it
We keep correspondence for as long as it's useful for working together. If you'd like anything you've sent us corrected or deleted, email us and we'll take care of it promptly.
