Operations and process architecture · Sydney
Turn your business model into a process your team can run.
Work directly with Angelo to make the handoffs, decisions and next actions clear—before asking your team or developer to implement them.
The business case
Less friction. Better visibility. A system people understand.
Operations and process architecture turns a business model into a practical operating pathway. It defines who does the work, what information they need, which decisions require approval, what happens next and how exceptions are handled.
You may already have a platform, a developer and advisers. The gap can still be the process around them: how staff use the system, how a customer moves between stages, and what happens when information is missing or a case does not follow the usual path. Mavat works alongside your existing team to map and resolve those handoffs.
Angelo Hanna, Mavat AI’s founder, leads the discovery and design work directly. The engagement starts with one important workflow and an agreed scope. It can finish with a blueprint and operating procedures for your team to implement, or lead to a separately scoped system build where one is needed.
- An end-to-end process with named roles and handoffs
- Decision gates, exceptions and escalation paths
- Practical administration SOPs and acceptance checks
- An implementation blueprint for your existing developer or team
Where value is usually hiding
01
The model is clear; the operation is not
Translate the business idea into the steps, responsibilities and records needed to run it day to day.
02
Too much depends on the founder
Make ownership, approvals and exceptions explicit so staff know what they can do and when to escalate.
03
A working platform with missing handoffs
Connect customer steps, administration and developer requirements without replacing software that already works.
How Mavat works
From operational friction to a working system.
Walk through real cases
Follow one typical case, an incomplete case and an exception with the people who handle them. Sensitive information can be removed from examples.
Agree roles and decisions
Define the stages, inputs, owners, approvals, triggers and escalation routes. Keep unresolved policy questions visible for the authorised decision-maker.
Write the operating blueprint
Produce the process map, SOPs, system requirements and acceptance checks in a form your team and developer can use.
Review and hand over
Walk through the blueprint together, test it against the agreed cases and record what is approved, provisional or dependent on another adviser.
Already have a developer or platform?
You do not need a replacement platform to benefit from process design. Mavat can work alongside your developer, product team and advisers, turning operational decisions into clear requirements, screens, permissions, events and integration responsibilities.
Your authorised advisers remain responsible for legal, financial and other specialist decisions. We make the operational dependencies clear and incorporate confirmed requirements; we do not substitute process design for professional advice.
A fixed project, then support that has a job to do
The first engagement is a paid, fixed-scope project with agreed deliverables, exclusions and review points. The price and timeframe follow discovery of the actual workflow; an initial conversation does not commit you to a build.
Where useful, a separate monthly support arrangement can cover process changes, developer clarification, release review, team onboarding or improvements to an agreed system. We define what is covered, the response arrangements and the work allowance. Support is priced separately from the project and from third-party software.
What to bring to the first conversation
Describe the workflow, the people involved and the point where work stalls or becomes unclear. Existing diagrams, anonymised examples and a walkthrough of the current system are helpful. You do not need to prepare a technical specification.
The first decision is whether there is a worthwhile operational problem to solve. Sometimes the answer is to configure an existing tool or clarify a procedure. If substantial investigation is needed, we agree the scope of a Workflow Blueprint before doing that work.
Straight answers
Questions before you begin.
Do you work directly with the business owner?+
Yes. Angelo Hanna leads the work, including the initial conversation, process design and handover. Staff, developers and advisers join the parts that need their input.
Can we engage you for process design without a software build?+
Yes. A scoped engagement can deliver process maps, decision rules, administration SOPs and an implementation blueprint for your existing team or developer.
What is the difference between a process map and an operating blueprint?+
A process map shows the stages and handoffs. An operating blueprint also defines owners, required information, decisions, exceptions, system responsibilities and checks that show whether the process works.
Will you replace our developer or current systems?+
The scope starts with what is already in place. We can work alongside your developer and retain useful systems. Any implementation or replacement is assessed and agreed separately.
Can you support the business after the initial project?+
Yes, where there is a useful ongoing role. Monthly support is agreed separately with clear covered work, limits and fees, rather than assumed to include every future change.
How do we get started?+
Book a free fit call and describe one workflow you want to improve. We check the fit, identify dependencies and agree the next paid scope before starting detailed design.
