Workflow Blueprint · Paid discovery
Workflow Blueprint: find the right problem before paying to build.
A clear map of the work, the cost of the friction and an honest recommendation, whether or not you build with us.
The business case
Less friction. Better visibility. A system people understand.
The Workflow Blueprint is how Mavat starts work that needs proper investigation. It follows the real workflow, measures the bottleneck, compares building with buying and defines the controls, scope and acceptance criteria for whatever comes next.
It exists because the most expensive software mistakes happen before anything is built: choosing a platform that fights the way the team works, or automating a process that should have been simplified first. A Blueprint puts the facts on the table before money is committed.
If an off-the-shelf product is the better answer, the Blueprint says so. If a build makes sense, it is proposed at a fixed price in clear phases.
- A map of the real process, including workarounds
- A baseline of time, delay and error to measure against
- A build-versus-buy recommendation
- Controls, scope and acceptance criteria for the next phase
Where value is usually hiding
01
Unclear where time goes
Trace real work through each handoff and system to see where it stalls.
02
Too many software options
Test options against your own workflow instead of a sales demo.
03
Fear of an expensive build
Agree scope, exclusions and acceptance criteria before any build is priced.
How Mavat works
From operational friction to a working system.
Walk the real work
We follow recent, real items through the workflow with the people who do the work.
Measure the friction
We record how long each step takes, how long things wait and what gets missed or redone.
Compare build and buy
We check existing products honestly against the map before recommending anything custom.
Define the next phase
You receive the map, baseline, recommendation and, where a build makes sense, a fixed-price phased proposal.
What you receive
A Blueprint produces a practical set of outputs: the process map, the baseline figures, the risks and privacy considerations, the build-versus-buy recommendation, and a defined scope for the next step with deliverables, exclusions and acceptance criteria.
You can use those outputs however you like, including to choose and set up an off-the-shelf product yourself. Our guide on mapping workflows before buying software shows the thinking behind it.
Who it suits
It suits established construction, trades and home services and allied health and NDIS businesses where information is being re-keyed between tools, follow-ups depend on one person remembering, or a software decision is looming and nobody is sure it is the right one.
Straight answers
Questions before you begin.
Is the first conversation free?+
Yes. The fit call is free. The Blueprint is a paid piece of work for when a workflow needs proper investigation.
What if the answer is to buy existing software?+
Then the Blueprint says so. The recommendation is based on your workflow, not on what Mavat builds.
Do we have to build with Mavat afterwards?+
No. The outputs are yours to use, whichever direction you take.
How is a build priced after the Blueprint?+
Builds are proposed at a fixed price in clear phases, with deliverables, exclusions and acceptance criteria agreed before work starts.
